LOST CARNIVAL - O Ano Em Que Não Houve Carnaval

LOST CARNIVAL tells the story about the first year in Brazil's history without one of its most important cultural events, about the grief of not being able to celebrate it and how the pandemic has affected (and still is affecting) the carnival community and the people who depend on it.

What does carnival means to you? This was one of the questions asked during the interviews that shows us different point of views from the professionals of this industry that gives voice to so many people and supports so many families.

The purpose of this project is to transmit a melancholic feeling but also the hope of the day we'll be able to go out in the streets and celebrate carnival again.
